Reports To: Executive Director (ED)
Ministry Purpose: This position plays a significant role in achieving the mission of the center and, thus, has a ministry purpose.
Hours: 24 hours/week (hybrid home/office if needed)
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday | 9am-5:00pm | Lunch 12-1
- Some evenings and weekends required for events and outreach
Qualifications:
- Agrees with the center’s statement of faith, mission statement, and code of Christian conduct.
- Is dependable, stable, and capable of committing to this position’s responsibilities and duties.
- Believes in the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception through natural death.
- Has a sincere, mature faith and can disciple those as needed.
- Holds high school diploma
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Outgoing, extroverted person who loves meeting new people and cultivating relationships
- Passion for the mission of Reach Out Pregnancy Center (ROPC)
- Must affirm and uphold the Statement of Faith of Reach Out Pregnancy Center as a condition of employment
- Experience in fundraising, ministry, or nonprofit work preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Position Overview:
Reach Out Pregnancy Center is seeking an outgoing, passionate and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to support and grow our fundraising and community engagement efforts. This role is essential in building relationships, coordinating events, and ensuring strong stewardship of our donors and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Donor & Gift Management:
- Accurately enter and track all donations in the donor database
- Maintain organized and confidential donor records
- Send timely gift acknowledgements and receipts
Fundraising & Campaigns
- Assist the Executive Director in planning and executing fundraising initiatives throughout the year
- Lead the Baby Bottle Campaign, including church coordination and follow-up
- Assist in identifying and implementing new fundraising opportunities
Events
- Work with ED and event committee to manage event logistics, volunteers, and communication
Community Outreach
- Represent Reach Out in the community
- Build relationships with local businesses and organizations
- Increase awareness of our services and mission
Church Partnerships
- Develop and maintain relationships with local churches
- Coordinate presentations, campaigns, and engagement opportunities
Donor Stewardship
- Cultivate strong relationships through communication, appreciation, and follow-up
- Help implement strategies to retain and grow donor support
