Client Services Coordinator Job Description:
FLSA Category: Non- Exempt
Reports To: Executive Director (ED)
Ministry Purpose: This position plays a significant role in achieving the mission of the center and, thus, has a ministry purpose.
Hours: Minimum of 24 hours a week.
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (8 hours each) Required. + One Saturday a month preferred.
- Evenings and Weekends may be required (with comp time) for events and outreach
Qualifications:
- Agrees with the center’s statement of faith, mission statement, and code of Christian conduct.
- Is dependable, stable, and capable of committing to this position’s responsibilities and duties.
- Expresses a strong desire to reach at-risk patients considering abortion.
- Believes in the sanctity of all human life from the moment of conception through natural death.
- Has a sincere, mature but always growing faith and can disciple, and be discipled, by those they supervise.
- Exhibits skills in interpersonal communication, public speaking, and problem-solving.
- Ability to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support to staff and volunteers.
- Ability to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, social work, human services, counseling, or related field preferred
Responsibilities & Duties: As the leader, oversees the support and care of the clients, assuring that they receive the best emotional, material, and spiritual care possible.
- Develop and maintain a monthly schedule for client advocates
- Develop and maintain volunteer communications
- Assist the executive director/CEO with statistical information, data entry, or other duties as necessary
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance
- Helps the ED formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices
- Carries out major assignments in conducting the operations of the business
- Provides consultation or expert advice to management
Ensure team training and adherence to all mandatory reporting laws and protocols.
Client Services:
- Recruit, Interview and On-Board potential Client Advocates
- Provide and oversee client advocacy and services for clients
- Maintain and update the referral resources for volunteers and client use (will be shared responsibility with Client Services Coordinator/Front desk)
- Evaluate, select, and maintain needed educational materials and resources for client use with the help of the executive director/CEO
- Be available to minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of clients, staff, and volunteers
- Monitor BrightCourse and Ekyros texting/messaging communications with clients
- Share the gospel with others when appropriate
- Represent Reach Out Pregnancy Center at client facing events in the community
- Maintains current knowledge of and ensures compliance with all applicable reporting laws related to human trafficking, abuse, and minors.
- Client Services- Boutique:
- Maintain oversight of the client boutique, ensuring an organized, welcoming, and well‑stocked environment
- Keep accurate inventory of boutique items and supplies
- Coordinate restocking and organization of boutique materials
- Train and supervise volunteers in proper boutique procedures, including inventory tracking and client interactions
- Ensure the boutique reflects the mission, values, and professionalism of the center
Training:
- Assist in conducting volunteer training seminars (about 6 per year including a summer picnic and Christmas dinner. These events are planned together by ED, CSD and NM.)
- Assist in recruiting, selecting, and interviewing potential volunteers.
- Conduct and supervise the orientation of new volunteers in the center.
- Disciple those they supervise regarding their spiritual well-being.
Participate in ongoing professional development.
Management:
- Upholds the center’s policies and procedures.
- Supports the religious mission of the center and encourages the spiritual growth of staff and clients.
- Reinforces the humanity of the unborn child with patients, their guests, staff, and others.
- Able to share the gospel with patients and pray with them as appropriate.
- Share the love of Jesus Christ with all staff, volunteers, and clients, as appropriate.
- Serves with a heart of mercy, grace, and love.
- Is an ambassador of the Christian mission of the center to supporters and the public at large
Preferred:
- Experience working in a pregnancy center, social services, healthcare, counseling, or nonprofit environment
- Knowledge of community resources in Ohio related to pregnancy, parenting, and family support
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care
